- The first thing you'll notice on Polybuzz is the vibrant, social feel. This isn't just about talking to one AI; it's about throwing your creation into a digital party to see how they mingle. Wild, right? To start, just click the big "Create" button. It's your gateway to becoming a digital life-giver.
Step 2: Who Are You Making?
- This is where the magic starts. You'll see a simple form. Don't be intimidated; it's super straightforward.
- Name: What's your character's name? I went with "Blorbo the Goblin." He's a little guy with big ideas.
- Gender: A simple dropdown to pick a pronoun for them.
- Category: This is a fun way to give AI a quick hint. Is your character a Hero, a Villain, a Mentor? I picked "Comedian" because Blorbo is more silly than sinister.
Step 3: The Secret Sauce — The Prompt
- This is the most important part, but keep it simple! You don't need to write a novel. Just describe their personality, their vibe, and what makes them "them".
- Here's what I typed for Blorbo: "A mischievous but brilliant goblin tinkerer who speaks in the third person and is obsessed with shiny gadgets. He's easily distracted and loves to trade secrets for trinkets."
- See? Short, sweet, and packed with personality. The AI uses this to understand how your character should talk and act.
Step 4: Make It Pretty! (Avatar Generation)
- This might be my favorite part. Instead of uploading a picture, Polybuzz lets you generate one right there with AI.
- You describe what they look like, and it gives you options. I typed: "A small green goblin with big ears, goggles on his forehead, holding a messy bundle of wires and gears."
- And just like that, it generated four options. I picked the one that looked the most mischievously inventive. It instantly makes your character feel real!
Step 5: Bring Your New Buddy to Life!
- Hit that "Create" button at the bottom and... ta-da! You're done. Seriously, that's it.
- You're immediately thrown into a chat with your brand-new character. Here's how my first conversation with Blorbo started. He's already perfectly in character—distracted, talking about himself in the third person, and obsessed with gadgets. I love him.
